Im looking for a nice pair of pants that will actually fit my figure. I have ahh wide thighs so I end up buying pants that fit over them but the waist ends up being bigger and I need a belt. I just pulled out a pair that doen't really fit on my thighs but the size of the pants it self already is one size up from what I wear. Is there any brands out there that fit people with a figure without being to big?

I thought I posted the tip about putting foundation on your lips to give lip stick a more even color when going on. I have pics of it and it really works now my question is. Is lipstick suppose to just rub off as easy as it does when you have the foundation on? I took pics and hed to take it off because it was smearing so easily. I put lip gloss over the lipstick to give it shine and I loved it but I don't know if that made it smear like that. I don't usually wear lipstick because of the unevenness of the color when I put it on but is that normal?

I didnt grow up a girly girl with my two older brother and so now when I want to dress nice I cant wear sneakers. I have tried to get "USED" to pain but ummm thats not happening. The only pain im willing to get used to is when I get my eye brows threaded and that barly hurts. I'll just get thicker heels and save myself some pain.

I didn't grow up a girlie girl either...I played ball my whole life.... So no excuses there. You either have to embrace the heels or try another path. Some women just really can't walk in heels. Besides there are SO many alternatives for embracing your femininity. You just have to find your nitch. Don't try to go for what you think is IN. Do what works best for you.

Well im not looking for excuses because I would own any heels at all or try to find way or other kinds I could wear. I do think I have a high arch, I looked online and at how shoes fit other peoples feet but my arch does not rest at all on the shoe putting presure on my heels and the padding on my foot right before my toes and it burns. I bought insoles made just for heels and they fill in a little bit of my arch but not as much. Shoes with thicker heels seem to not curve as much at the arch... I'll just have to figure it out but I have more shoes then I actually wear so Im embracing all the femininity I can afford to embrase.

I never make it outside the house with the stelleo heels but I use the ones with the thicker heel but im going to keep trying. I also realized that shoes with a square toe instead of a pointed one do not hurt as bad. Which heel is perfect to you?

There are some heels that are comfortable - most are not, but you can find some that are comfortable. In the past I've found some comfortable high heels (and I am not talking about 3 inch kiddie-heels) I've got some 4 inch ones by Steve Madden and Charles David that were very comfortable. It's possible to find comfortable heels, you have to try them on and they have to feel comfortable. They are not easy to find but it's possible.

For example if it has a strap you want the strap to go behind the "knub" of your little toe - I don't know if that's what they call it - but the equivalent of the knuckle on the finger. Platforms are often comfortable. It's possible to find comfortable shoes at any heel height you just have to be patient and resist buying the uncomfortable ones no matter how good they look.

I have a pair and there about 2 inches and they felt fine but they are open toe and my big toe and the digit next to it was hurting all night. I had went to a salsa club and the whole night I was not trying to dance let alone chance a partner stepping on my foot. I am figuring it out though I just wish I hadn't bought the shoees I have. Im hoping once I get use to wearing comfortable heels my uncomfortables ones will be bearable so I can at least use them.

I only had threading done once...never again though. I went to Leeba Salon on State Street...and it was pretty much a horrific experience.

I'm sticking with my gal Leyla over at Maksou Salon on Broad St. in Downtown. She's awesome. She places her finger over the newly waxed portion of your eyebrows to alleviate the sting of waxing. Of course, the daunting task of actually tweezing will pinch...but it's worth it in the end.

I tried threading. NEVER again. One, it is unbelievably painful, and two, it didn't last nearly as long as waxing. They literally tie thread around your brow hairs and yank them out one by one.

Go with waxing. All the places listed by other members are decent. :)

I use a razor to shape mine - my eyebrows are "undefined" and they grow all over the place but they are sparse too so I don't tweeze them I don't want them getting any more sparse. If I let it all just grow for like two months it looks like a guy's five o-clock shadow above my eyes, it's horrible!

Threading is horrible. The one time I had it done it left teeny tiny little cuts on my eybrows, and I swore I would never do it again . As person who has full eyebrows, I can tell you that the least painful for me is razor shaping.I used to get it done at my hair salon but when my stylist moved I changed salons and now I go somwhere else and get my eyebrows waxed. The person I use does very little tweezing or none at all.

I ONLY will thread my eyebrows now. Waxing in the past has pulled my skin off, more than once. Threading is typically cheap...$5 where I go...and takes just a few minutes. Other benefits, besides being cheap, are 1) better accuracy to shape the brow & 2) won't leave you red and puffy.

EVERYONE I just wanted to let you know I got them done. Yes for the first time in my life I got my eyebrows done. not the pluck two hairs and say "ohh ok never mind" I didn't get them shaved yes I know not a good idea but I was young and they grew back. I got them threaded, as for pain I couldnt say it was less painful then waxing cuz to me pain is pain. But as a way to avoid getting them done I asked about four people while they were getting them done or after what they thought and they said it was not bad. My friend who I went with gets hers waxed so I had her get them threaded and she told me she was falling asleep which I don't believe. Like the first one hurts but then after... well for me it hurts but then Im also a baby. After shes was done when she went back in for small hairs I didn't really notice as much. So i guess I have to keep up with them so they don't get long and I have to go through that again.

            1) Now $10 at the Arsenal mall in Watertown
            2) Less painful and faster then waxing (from what I hear)
            3) Does not damage the skin
            3)
